Hrjazovic, Milan

Milan Hrnjazović subsequently started to develop his ideas within different aspects of painting and photography. Milan’s work has strong relations to his social surroundings. With his insistence to represent the numerous layers of reality in his paintings, he often makes satirical remarks on the omnipresent greediness, narcissism, and alienation. Departing from the formal realism and importing semi abstract symbolic motifs, Milan tries to put light on less transparent aspects of the visible. The possible context of certain motifs tends to surprise, offering various ways of understanding the painting.
