“Through my designs I create ethereal worlds where I demonstrate the connection between man and nature. I achieve that by often incorporating repetitive forms within blurred boundaries, inspired by curves we see in nature, and also by juxtaposing fragile with sturdy materials, such as paper with wood. The end result is reached through experimentation using a combination of paper cutting and collage.”

Eclipse N°1034

This mixed media drawing/installation represents a lady in a black lake. I captured the moment she is out of the water and she is standing in foont of the sun. She is a metaphorical moon that causes the obscuring of light, a symbolic eclipse. It is how mortal and devine can be together in one moment.

80 x 120 cm
Charcoal, imitation goldleaves, chains and wood, pearls on black plexi-glass

Eve N°1058

This drwaing represents Eve, the first woman at garden of Eden, when a serpent ( the snake ) seduces her to eat the forbidden fruit, from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which she had been commanded not to do by God.

In Genesis 3, a serpent tempts the woman :
"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth known that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil.
- Genesis 3:4 - 5 [2]

Desiring this wisdom, the woman eats the forbidden fruit and gives some to the man who all eats it. After that, they become aware of their "nakedness" and make fig-leaf clothes and hide themselves whebn God approaches. God curses the man and woman ( and the serpent ) and expels them from ythe garden and thereby from eternal life.

As a metaphor, the phrase typically refers to any indulgence or pleasure that is considered illegal or immoral.

Tresure 2 N°1038

With this drawing I give a metaphorical meaning about human behaviour and how people try to hide from their own feelings and emotions.

Tresure 3 N°1035

With this illustration I give a metaphorical meaning about human behaviour and people's expectation. It is the empty shirt that waits to be filled from a body and a soul, instead it is filled with dried narcissus flowers. These flowers are usually considered as a symbol of narcissm and egoism. And as you can see the time had affected them. Like people's expectations and how they try to hide their own feelings and emotions behind a selfish behaviour
