"On The Other Side" N°1111
When we are kids we want to be grownups, we enjoy to hold their drinks, to imagine ourselves in the future, as our parents, as our heroes. Then when we become adults, we desire to return to our childhood where the life was simple, without problems or big obligations, where we arrived home after school and we were able to play and have fun. The mirror between both figures is actually a special glass, where you can be reflected but at the same time you are able to see through the glass. So the kid sees himself reflected in the mirror, projecting his thoughts about what would be his future, but naturally he will never know how it will turn in future, so he cannot see the other side. Otherwise, the adult sees himself reflected and also through the glass, remembering his childhood, the time that he had no concerns and everything was simple.
