ADELINA GAVRILA

Romania

“Most of my artistic projects are a critique of the social framework in which we live, a society dominated by political conflicts and economic disparity. All these elements have given rise to anomalies, characterized by a contrast of contemporary human tonalities. Hallucinatory frames, moral ambiguity and the objectification of individuals are the basic themes of my work. My aim has been to capture the countless acts of immorality using atypical perspectives, such as symbolic elements found in the environment in which I lived in that moment.”

Poemting Days Doing Circle II N°1390

My painting consists in a triptych, having as main subject the poetic vision of the human body in movement. So I try to fit the similarities between gymnasts, field dancers and bondage practitioners, realizing that the action of body movement is almost identical, but the viewer's view differs from one typology to another
